Wagga Wagga - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Wagga Wagga
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Wagga Wagga. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Wagga Wagga.
Electoral District Priorities
The electorate covers a significant geographical area and has a number of discrete communities. In addition, we have an aging population that is growing as well as a significant youth population. Priorities include:
- Upgrades to community infrastructure that enables multiple and varied uses and is designed to be flexible for different uses, especially in smaller communities
- Upgrades to facilities to support engagement of youth, including through sporting facilities and enhanced learning and play facilities in schools
- It is important that grants are funded across the electorate
- Infrastructure upgrades to places of worship to support community meeting facilities, community outreach services as well as community identity and multiculturalism.
- Projects that support healthy and active lifestyles
- Projects that support participation in the arts and cultural activities
- Projects that support activities for older citizens
