South Coast - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - South Coast
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of South Coast. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of South Coast.
Electoral District Priorities
The South Coast Electorate covers a large geographical area with two major town centres and 45 small villages, all with their own needs. Over recent years, the South Coast Electorate has experienced a number of natural disasters, including bushfires, floods and landslides. These ongoing disasters have taken a toll on not only our infrastructure, but also on the people living here.
Projects that can support services or groups to engage our youth. This could include upgrades to community halls, sporting and recreational activities, or upgrades to sporting clubhouses and fields/lighting etc.
Projects that provide green and open spaces and encourage active lifestyle and shared community activities - especially those that encourage social inclusion such as community gardens, or equipment for disabled surfing activities.
Projects that upgrade infrastructure including recreational facilities or those that help communities to respond to natural disasters or adjust to increased heat and climate change.
Projects/infrastructure that supports our growing multi-cultural communities in the electorate to deliver services.
The purchase of equipment for sporting clubs to help increase participation and support active and healthy lifestyles
