Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Pittwater

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Pittwater. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Pittwater.

Electoral District Priorities

The Pittwater community is privileged to live in a beautiful environment—one we are committed to protecting, nurturing and celebrating. As an active community, we have an interest in supporting our sporting venues and clubs, particularly those impacted by extreme weather such as flooding or that support disability and inclusion. We also have a high volunteer rate across a number of not for profit and charity organisations servicing our community that need support. Our priorities for Pittwater are:

  • To build a healthy and active community that supports physical and mental wellbeing through active lifestyles, sports, outdoor activities and social connection – particularly sports clubs or field upgrades.
  • To foster an inclusive community where everyone feels valued, supported and able to be their best selves.
  • To encourage our young people, older people and people with disabilities to spend more time engaging in active, social and creative pursuits that build strong bodies, minds and friendship.
  • To continue helping those who are struggling or disadvantaged due to rising living costs, domestic violence, addiction or other challenges.
  • To protect Pittwater’s unique environment from extreme weather, noxious weeds and from human impacts.
  • To provide modern, enduring places, resources and services that meet our needs now and into the future.
  • To prioritise support for not-for-profits entities and charities and other entities where the grant project delivers community value beyond business as usual.
