Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Oatley

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Oatley. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Oatley.

Electoral District Priorities

The Oatley Electorate is a well-established suburban community characterised by civic participation, high rates of volunteering and a vibrant network of local service clubs, cultural groups, and sporting associations.

The area has a growing number of young families and is a diverse multicultural community, with nearly 1 in 3 residents speaking a language other than English. Our community is defined by the natural beauty of the Georges River and our extensive parklands. Local residents place a high-value on upgraded facilities for recreational and sport, so that everyone may enjoy our wonderful environment.

Priorities for the CBP funding include:

  • Upgrades to community halls, scout group, local service delivery hubs and spaces used by multicultural and other community organisations.
  • Infrastructure that supports youth engagement, including sporting facilities, play spaces, and community learning spaces.
  • Projects that improve accessibility for seniors, people with a disability and those who are disadvantaged, including refurbishments and safety improvements.
  • Upgrades that enhance local parks, riverfront spaces, bushland area, and shared community infrastructure
