Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - North Shore

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of North Shore. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of North Shore.

Electoral District Priorities

The North Shore Electorate is a vibrant, diverse part of Sydney made up of close-knit communities, busy village centres and a strong sense of local identity. Our local community relies on well-resourced schools, community services and organisations, and sporting clubs. As one of the highest density communities in

NSW, our community benefits from targeted investment in shared facilities, local services and community infrastructure across the electorate.

Funding for local public schools and early learning should see facility upgrades and maintenance, playground and outdoor learning spaces, accessibility improvements, sports and recreation facilities, and creative and specialist spaces and resources all to ensure that local students have access to the best public education.

Local sporting and community organisations would benefit from upgrading club facilities, improving change rooms and amenities, upgrades to enhance multipurpose community spaces, lighting and safety upgrades, equipment and resource upgrades all to strengthen participation, support volunteers and ensure community organisations remain vibrant in our local area.

Projects that will strengthen local volunteer organisations and groups including community-based groups that support vulnerable and disadvantaged people. Funding would see upgrades to facilities and spaces, essential equipment and resources, expanding program delivery, accessibility improvements, and volunteer training programs.
