Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Myall Lakes 

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Myall Lakes. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Myall Lakes. 

Electoral District Priorities 

The Legislative Assembly District of Myall Lakes is a diverse electorate and occupies an area of 5,180 square kilometres.

The area has been adversely affected by flooding events this year, and Community Partnership Grants will be essential for those who missed out on support during this time.

Priorities for funding for the CBP grants will include, but are not limited to:

  • Flood recovery efforts
  • Projects to upgrade local sports and recreation facilities
  • Projects to upgrade community halls
  • Projects to support community health and wellbeing
  • Projects to support arts and culture
  • Accessibility upgrades to community facilities
  • Multicultural programs
  • Community asset infrastructure

  • Heritage preservation
  • Disaster recovery projects
  • Youth programs
  • Projects to support better access to before and after school care
  • Projects to boost social inclusion and wellbeing
  • Projects to support disability inclusion

  • Active transport projects
  • Aged care community projects
  • Parents and citizens projects
