Mount Druitt - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Mount Druitt
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Mount Druitt. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Mount Druitt.
Electoral District Priorities
The Mount Druitt Electorate is one of Western Sydney’s most diverse and fast-growing communities, with many recently arrived migrants, a large youth population and areas facing significant social and economic disadvantage.
Local community organisations, Disability Groups, schools & faith groups play a vital role in providing connection, support & opportunity. CBP funding can strengthen this work by improving the places and spaces our community relies on.
Priorities for the Mount Druitt Electorate include:
- Upgrades to infrastructure supporting multicultural communities & new migrants, such as improvements to community centres and facilities that host language classes, cultural programs and settlement services.
- Enhancements to places of worship and cultural hubs that strengthen identity and enable outreach services including counselling, youth programs and community food support.
- Projects that promote healthy, active lifestyles, including sporting facility upgrades, lighting, shade structures, and improvements to parks, walking paths and recreation spaces.
- Infrastructure that supports the disabled, children & young people, youth centres, playground renewals, digital learning spaces and facilities that encourage engagement & safe recreation.
- Upgrades that improve community wellbeing, safety & resilience, including accessibility works, improved lighting, sustainability features, shade, tree planting and infrastructure responding to increasing heat and climate impacts
