Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Maroubra 

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Maroubra. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Maroubra. 

Electoral District Priorities 

The Maroubra electorate is characterised by an economically diverse population of varying financial means and needs.

Priority of funding through the Maroubra CBP grant program may include:

  • Projects that support active and healthy lifestyles.
  • Projects for places for community meetings and gatherings, including local clubs, sporting, cultural and community support groups and associations.
  • Development of new and or refurbishment or expansion of facilities for schools, local charities, sports groups, community groups and local faith communities.
  • Enhanced learning and recreational facilities
  • Facilities that will be of use and benefit to disadvantaged groups or those with special needs within the community.
  • Infrastructure upgrades that make our community facilities more accessible or expand community usage.
