Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Manly 

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Manly. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Manly. 

Electoral District Priorities 

The Electorate of Manly is a thriving community surrounded by the Harbour and beaches. It has a large number of young families and experiences relatively high rental and mortgage stress in comparison to other parts of New South Wales. The area has limited transport infrastructure, no heavy rail, no light rail and is predominantly reliant on bus and ferry services, alongside private cars. The community has a long and proud history of volunteering, and this is done through many organisations, both social, cultural and sporting.

Priorities for funding through the CBP grant program include:

  • Projects that will enhancing the opportunity for delivery of arts and entertainment to encourage stronger social connections
  • Projects that assist in the management of millions of tourist visitors each year which place immense pressure on public and community infrastructure
  • Projects that support engaging young people and schools through sporting facilities and associated public infrastructure.
  • Projects that help build capability of the various social service and volunteer organisations.
  • Projects that leverage our beautiful natural environment.
