Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Londonderry

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Londonderry. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Londonderry.

Electoral District Priorities

Our Electorate is characterised by large and growing communities, home to newly arrived migrants with vibrant and culturally diverse communities. It includes pockets of smaller well-established suburbs. The socio-economic standing of these diverse communities vary widely within the electorate. New housing developments have placed a strain on community facilities. Therefore our priorities for CBP funding include:

  • Play spaces, recreational open space and multi-use community facilities.
  • Projects that improve the infrastructure that support the delivery of services to multicultural communities, including services that encourage social cohesion and culturally safe meeting spaces.
  • Projects that upgrade infrastructure to respond to increasing heat and access for people disabilities and older people.
  • Projects that support and promote active living and sport, including sporting facilities and equipment, cycle and walking paths or park upgrades.
  • Enhanced learning and recreational facilities in our schools that could enable out-of-school hours usage of school facilities.

It is important that CBP programs fund grants across the electorate, particularly in low growth and low-socio economic areas.
