Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Liverpool

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Liverpool. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Liverpool.

Electoral District Priorities

Liverpool has one of the most culturally diverse communities, with significant populations of newly arrived migrants, young families, seniors, and people with disability. The electorate experiences pockets of socio- economic disadvantage alongside rapid population growth and increasing demand for community, health, recreation and transport infrastructure. Equity, inclusion, safety and access remain key priorities for local residents. Priorities for CBP funding include:

  • Projects that provide culturally safe spaces and programs that strengthen community connection, promote social cohesion and participation.
  • Projects that deliver disability-inclusive and age-friendly infrastructure, including accessible toilets, mobility-supporting upgrades, transport solutions, and initiatives that reduce social isolation.
  • Projects that support youth engagement, including upgrades to recreation spaces, technology-enabled learning environments, and programs that enhance participation, mentoring and active lifestyles.
  • Projects that improve community sport and recreation infrastructure, including playground upgrades, accessible sporting equipment and facilities that encourage participation across all ages and abilities.
  • Projects that strengthen safety, resilience and essential amenities, including bathroom and facility refurbishment, shading, heat-mitigation infrastructure, and upgrades to services delivering food relief and social support.
