Lismore - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Lismore
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Lismore. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Lismore.
Electoral District Priorities
Our Electorate of Lismore is made up of distinct local communities across three full Local Government Areas (Lismore City, Kyogle and Tenterfield Shire) and parts of two LGAs (Murwillumbah district, Tweed Shire) and Byron Shire hinterland. Briefly outline the benefits of your small community infrastructure project, i.e. how it will improve lives in your community, LGA or, if regional in scope, the Northern Rivers.
Other Electorate priorities may include how your project supports volunteerism and community service; promotes social inclusion and connectivity; increases participation in sport and recreation, fosters the arts and culture, cares for our environment, or preserves local history, including community hubs like country halls, heritage buildings and museum collections.
Parts of our Electorate have been impacted by natural disasters such as floods, bushfires and storms. If applicable, how might your project better prepare people for these impacts
