Leppington - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Leppington
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Leppington. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Leppington.
Electoral District Priorities
The Leppington electorate is a fast-growing outer-metropolitan area with a much younger population than the state average and a high share of families with children. Large numbers of first-home buyers and new households are moving into the electorate.
Rapid residential development continues to place increasing pressure on local services, roads, public transport, school infrastructure and community facilities. The area’s cultural diversity and family-focused demographic mean that community groups rely heavily on local halls, sporting spaces, support services and safe places for social connection.
CBP priorities for Leppington include:
- Upgrading ageing community facilities to ensure halls, classrooms and shared spaces remain safe and functional.
- Improving community transport, especially for seniors, new arrivals and residents who rely on supported mobility.
- Enhancing sport, recreation and open spaces by improving equipment, creating safer surfaces and supporting active, shared community use.
- Strengthening safety and accessibility with ramps, fencing, defibrillators and other essential upgrades.
- Supporting youth, learning and play with refreshed classrooms, play areas and outdoor learning spaces.
- Improving community and cultural spaces to help local groups host activities, events and shared meal
