Lake Macquarie - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Lake Macquarie
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Lake Macquarie. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Lake Macquarie.
Electoral District Priorities
- Projects that enhance the useability and sustainability of local community facilities and create a welcoming and equal opportunity space
- Upgrades to infrastructure and protections against natural disasters such as fire and flood
- Improvement and creation of community and sporting spaces for a growing population in an identified significant regional growth area. These should cater to the many and varied skills, ages and abilities known in the community.
- Any projects that support and encourage accessibility for aged citizens and people living with disability, to foster social and community engagement and provide welcoming and safe environments
- Improvements to premises where community-based groups provide friendship and support to members of the community combatting loneliness and loss.
