Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Keira

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Keira. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Keira.

Electoral District Priorities

The electorate of Keira is a vibrant and rapidly growing community, with local sporting groups and community organisations working hard to keep pace with increasing participation, particularly as female involvement in sport continues to rise. To respond to this growth and ensure equitable access for all residents, funding is directed toward initiatives that strengthen economic opportunity and reduce barriers related to gender, disability, cultural background, and social disadvantage.

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • Upgrade sporting, recreational, community, and school facilities, with a focus on improvements and opportunities for out-of-school-hours use.
  • Encourage active lifestyles and foster shared community engagement, cultural inclusion and supporting spaces and programs that bring people together.
  • Promote environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, including initiatives that strengthen community resilience to adverse weather conditions and efficiency upgrades.
  • Enhance infrastructure for organisations assisting people with a disability, homelessness, domestic violence, and family support, enabling better service delivery and increased community participation.

Projects that clearly demonstrate strong community impact, inclusive design, sustainability, and long-term value for school communities, local residents, and the broader Keira electorate will be considered the highest priority for funding
