Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Holsworthy

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Holsworthy. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Holsworthy.

Electoral District Priorities

Holsworthy is one of NSW's most diverse and unique electorates, linking Sutherland Shire and Liverpool LGAs. These two regions have distinct characteristics that shape local infrastructure needs.

In Sutherland Shire, well-established sporting clubs and volunteer-run organisations remain central to community life. There is strong demand for upgrading sporting facilities, lighting, and amenities that improve the quality of life for all residents.

The Liverpool side of the electorate is home to a younger and multicultural community with higher levels of disadvantage. Residents are more likely to rely on community organisations, culturally appropriate facilities, and spaces that support service delivery, social inclusion and outreach programs.

Across both LGAs, population growth is placing pressure on community facilities, open spaces and sporting fields. Priorities for CBP funding include projects that strengthen participation, create culturally inclusive and family-friendly environments, support active lifestyles, improve safety, and expand the capacity of community organisations to meet growing local demand.
