Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Hawkesbury

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Hawkesbury. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Hawkesbury.

Electoral District Priorities

The Hawkesbury Electorate has suffered massive devastation since 2019 through bushfires, floods and drought. Community assets have been destroyed and whilst there has been Federal and State funding provided, there are still areas around Hawkesbury that need rebuilding and restoring which CBP funding can really help with. Overall opportunities for Hawkesbury funding consideration include:

  • projects that add to the enhancement of the electorate
  • projects that encourage community participation
  • projects that engage with the youth, cultural organisations, education and learning groups, volunteer groups, first responders and general recreational groups
  • projects that honour our veterans within the community
  • projects that preserve/enhance places of worship
  • projects that preserve historical buildings and/or maintain our sense of history
  • projects that foster good health and wellbeing
  • projects that enhance and maintain our indigenous history
  • projects that ensure the safety of our community
  • projects that assist the vulnerable, frail or disabled
  • projects that inform and give guidance
  • projects that provide betterment for the electorate
  • projects that connect and link those within and outside the electorate
  • infrastructure that improves facilities such as before and after school facilities, pre-school and childcare facilities, educational facilities and not-for-profit assets
  • projects that educate and inform all age groups within the electorate
