Goulburn - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Goulburn
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Goulburn. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Goulburn.
Electoral District Priorities
The Goulburn Electorate spans a vast and diverse area, encompassing regional centres and rural towns.
Our communities have faced repeated challenges from bushfires, floods, and drought, which have taken a toll on local infrastructure and community wellbeing. With an aging population and growing demand for local services, investment in resilient, accessible, and flexible infrastructure is essential.
Priority needs include upgrades to community halls, showgrounds, and recreation facilities to ensure they can serve multiple purposes, from community gatherings to emergency refuges. Many smaller towns rely on single facilities, so improvements in accessibility, lighting, and amenities are vital to support older residents and families.
Preserving and adapting our region’s heritage buildings will maintain local character while enabling new community, cultural, and tourism opportunities. Projects that improve disaster resilience, water security measures, and heat-mitigation upgrades are increasingly critical.
Across the electorate, there is a strong need for investment that supports youth engagement, sports, social connection, and health and wellbeing, ensuring every community has access to safe, functional, and future ready facilities.
