Fairfield - CBP 2026
Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Fairfield
Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Fairfield. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Fairfield.
Electoral District Priorities
The Fairfield Electorate is one of the most culturally diverse areas in New South Wales, with a high proportion of recently arrived migrants, multilingual households, people with disabilities and young families. Many parts of the community experience socioeconomic disadvantage, and local facilities often need upgrades to remain safe, accessible, and able to meet growing demand.
Key priorities for CBP funding include:
- Upgrading multicultural and community facilities to support newly arrived migrants, provide culturally safe meeting places, and enhance access to language, social, and support programs.
- Improving youth-focused infrastructure such as sporting facilities, play spaces, and venues for recreational activities.
- Supporting community organisations and places of worship that contribute to cultural identity, wellbeing, and outreach.
- Strengthening the capacity of community organisations to support people with disabilities and the senior population.
- Improving heat-resilience infrastructure, including shading, cooling, and upgrades that make community spaces safer and more comfortable during extreme weather
