Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - East Hills

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of East Hills. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of East Hills.

Electoral District Priorities

The East Hills Electorate is home to diverse communities, from the beautiful Georges River and surrounding national parklands to vibrant village centres. Across all areas, our shared enthusiasm for sport, recreational spaces and community participation is a defining strength.

For CBP 2026, priority will be given to projects that strengthen community infrastructure through targeted capital works that support safety, accessibility, innovation, and long-term sustainability. Maintaining and upgrading existing sporting, parklands and community facilities is essential to prevent deterioration and ensure these well-used spaces continue to serve residents. Projects that deliver structural improvements, renew ageing assets, or increase the capacity of key community hubs are strongly encouraged.

The electorate is also committed to supporting growing communities by investing in facilities that meet emerging social, artistic, cultural, environmental, and recreational needs. Capital works that provide long-term benefit, increase community participation, and create inclusive and resilient public spaces will be prioritised.

While CBP funding should primarily support capital improvements, equipment requests remain eligible. Equipment applications will be considered where the items enable organisations to deliver essential services, expand community access, or improve safety and inclusiveness.

Overall, funding priorities focus on preserving existing assets and ensuring equitable access to high-quality facilities and resources across the electorate
