Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Cronulla 

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Cronulla. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Cronulla. 

Electoral District Priorities 

Priorities for the Cronulla electorate include but not limited to:

  • Projects that deliver broad community benefit by serving large participation groups such as schools, major sporting clubs and organisations with substantial membership to ensure funding provides maximum value tothe greatest number of local constituents.
  • Projects that support active and healthy lifestyles, including improvements to sporting facilities, recreational spaces and equipment which encourages regular physical activity and community participation.
  • Upgrades to community infrastructure that provides multiple and flexible uses, particularly where existing facilities are limited, enabling a wider range of community groups to access safe, modern and adaptable spaces.
  • Projects that will improve wellbeing and inclusion for older constituents and people with disability, including initiatives that enhance social connection and supports improved health.
  • Projects that support the engagement of youth, including initiatives that build skills, foster connection and encourage positive community participation.
  • Projects that deliver environmental benefits, including initiatives that enhance sustainability, improve energy or water efficiency, protect natural habitats or help the community adapt to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
