Community Building Partnership (CBP) 2026 Grant Program - Castle Hill

Welcome to the CBP 2026 Program for the Electoral District of Castle Hill. This program provides an opportunity for local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.

The local Member of Parliament (MP) has prepared the below summary of the electoral district priorities to provide guidance to applicants considering lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 2026 CBP funding in the electoral district of Castle Hill.

Electoral District Priorities

The Castle Hill Electorate has a fast-growing population which is forecast to increase over the next 20 years.

New developments within in our suburbs have placed a strain on the existing infrastructure and community facilities. Our priorities for CPB Funding include:

  • Projects that improve sports clubs including projects to maintain or upgrade buildings and projects for the purchase of freestanding equipment.
  • Projects that improve places of worship.
  • Projects should be directed to increasing community participation and the wellbeing of the community. Projects may include improving infrastructure, purchase of freestanding equipment or the purchase of registered vehicles.
  • Projects that support the engagement of youth. Projects should be directed to supporting sporting organisations focusing on youth engagement, cultural organisations, education and learning organisations or general recreational groups.
  • Projects which support the general wellbeing of the community. Projects may include the upgrading buildings, sports fields, disability access, community radio stations, parks and gardens. Projects may also request the purchase of freestanding equipment and or otherwise the purchase of a registered vehicle.
  • Projects which support active lifestyles including enhancing community facilities including active and passive recreational facilities.
  • Infrastructure that enhances before and after school facilities and pre-school or childcare facilities
